goldorak/grendizer: a day in the life
ufo robo grendizer (goldorak in the french version) is a mythical japanese anime character which was extremely popular in french culture when i grew up in the eighties. 25 years later, i went to japan and got myself an articulated toy, a childhood dream. the robot in turn made me discover his everyday life in his home country. super heros do not just spend their time saving the world. captions are in french.
goldorak a bercé ma jeunesse. 25 ans plus tard, je me suis offert une figurine articulée lors d'un voyage au japon. en retour, le gentil robot m'a fait découvrir son pays et sa vie quotidienne, qui n'est pas aussi héroïque que l'on pourrait croire. un super-héros aussi à droit à avoir une vie normale. voici en exclusivité à quoi ressemble une journée dans la vie de goldorak.
